Character Oak
This is our most popular grade of oak flooring.
The boards are a mix of crown oak and quarter sawn.
With a variety of knots and some natural colour variation the finished floor will provide a beautiful foundation for any style of interior.
Specification:
- Tongue and groove to all four sides
- Stress grooved widths 120-180mm
- Board length varying up to 3m - average length 800mm and above
- 22mm finished thickness
Select Oak
Our 'Select' grade oak floor, is for those who prefer a modern, contemporary look.
With smaller sound knots and greater colour consistency it complements modern properties whilst retaining the look and feel of solid oak.
Specification:
- Tongue and groove to all four sides
- Stress grooved widths 120-180mm
- Board length 1.8-2.2m
- 22mm finished thickness
Aged Oak
This board is a real alternative to reclaimed flooring.
The boards are hand-aged by lightly scoring the surface. This process reveals the grain and gives a worn appearance.
Aging can be done to a lesser or greater extent to suit individual requirements.

- Tongue and groove to all four sides
- Stress grooved widths 120-180mm
- Board length 1.8-2.2m
- 22mm finished thickness
Oak Parquet Block Flooring
Parquet block flooring is becoming increasingly popular, whether in a traditional or contempory interiors.
We can supply 3 different oak grades;
- Quarter Sawn
- Prime
- Natural
Specification:
- Square edge with tongue and groove all four sides
- 22mm finished thickness
- 70mm wide
- Lengths available; 228mm, 254mm, 266mm
Slate and Lath
This style of flooring is popular, whether in a kitchen or conservatory. Or used when linking a tiled floor to a solid wood floor.
Customers can choose from an extensive range of slate or specify tiles of their choice, the oak timber is then matched to suit.
Specification:
- This will vary according to the slate or tile used
- The average finished thickness is 22mm
Tavern Oak
Perfect for older properties and barn conversions. With a variety of mixed lengths and widths.
The boards are full of interest with a wealth of colour, larger knots and natural shakes.

- Tongue and groove to all four sides
- Widths are various
- Board length varying up to 3m - average length 800mm and above
- 22mm finished thickness
Character Oak Shorts
This grade of oak flooring is particularly suitable for developers or those customers working to a tight budget.
The grade of oak used is the same as Character grade (see above).

- Tongue and groove to all four sides
- Stress grooved widths 120-180mm
- Board length 0.5m to 1.5m
- 22mm finished thickness
