Statement regarding the Ferret programme

Sarah, the manager at Alpha Oak Flooring & Joinery Ltd was recently asked to appear in a televised interview with Chris Seagar from the 'Ferret' programme. This is due to be shown on ITV Wales on Monday 28th November.
The Ferret had been contacted by a Mr & Mrs Woodward of Maes y Bont nearr Carmarthen to discuss their oak joinery supplied by David Jones, a director of Alpha Oak.
As stated in the televised interview David Jones has made every effort through direct and legal representation to reach a proper and professional solution to this situation.
Throughout the project there have been problems with stage payments not being made.
At no point during the project was any issue raised with the quality of the joinery supplied.
No reports detailing any faults and no communication from Mr & Mrs Woodward concerning the quality of the joinery has ever been received by either David Jones or Alpha Oak Flooring & Joinery Ltd.
This is a very sad situation for all parties concerned, which should have been resolved through the proper channels.
David Jones was prevented by Mr & Mrs Woodward from completing the work and the joinery has been left unfinished and unprotected since June 2011.
Even at this late stage David Jones is prepared to finish the job providing payment is guaranteed.
